Gabriel started dancing at the age of 12 in his hometown of Saugerties, NY at the Saugerties Ballet Center.  For his senior year of high school, Gabriel traveled to Pittsburgh, PA to study with the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre.  After completing both theSchenley and Graduate programs,  Gabriel joined the company in 2005.  In 2007, Gabriel was named one of Pittsburgh Magazine’s “Top 25 Most Beautiful People”.  The following year, Gabriel joined Ballet Met in Columbus, OH where he still lives, dances, composes, choreographs, and creates. Within the past couple years, Gabriel has choreographed and set pieces of his own on Ballet Met, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Texture Contemporary Ballet, and Cincinnati Ballet while still enjoying the opportunity to work with and be inspired by other world renown choreographers such as Christopher Wheeldon, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, Dwight Rhoden, Amadeo Amodio, George Balanchine, James Kudelka, Edwaard Liang, David Nixon, Lauri Stallings, Jimmy Orrante, BIrgit Scherzer, Amy Seiwart, Mathew Neenan, and Jerome Robbins.
